The payment of the deposit implies the acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale (GTC) for our bed and breakfast and catering as well as the tacit consent of the customers for the use of the personal data which will be communicated to us.
We are concerned about preserving the privacy of our customers and we will protect the confidentiality of the personal information transmitted to us. These will not be shared and will only be used for administrative and practical reasons for your stay (see GDPR paragraph below).

We are committed to personally welcoming our guests with all the attention required to facilitate their stay.

We receive you in the part of the farmhouse, which is adjoining our main residence.
The monitoring of guest rooms and sanitary facilities is provided daily, at no additional cost, it is important to leave your keys at the reception when you leave for visits.
Beyond the human relations approach, our activity of renting guest rooms is exercised on an annual basis and constitutes a commercial activity registered in the RCS (Register of Commerce and Companies of Salon de Provence)

Our guest rooms comply with the provisions of Articles D. 324-13 and D. 324-14 of the Tourism Code.

The prices indicated on this site are inclusive of VAT (all charges included) in euros (€) including VAT. These are the prices for reservations made on the site or directly with La bastide des Martelières without intermediary. The prices of the nights are per room with a double bed and per night and depend on the annual period chosen. This price includes a breakfast.

The tourist tax, according to the regulations in force, is extra.

Our rates and offers are subject to availability at the time of booking and may not be renewed for subsequent bookings. The conditions of offers and prices are subject to change without notice.
The atmospheres of the house changing frequently, the photos available on this site and on social networks are non-contractual, however close to reality for the sake of transparency.

Tourist taxes are local taxes that the customer must pay to the owners who collect them to transfer them to the Public Treasury.

In accordance with article L 2333-29 and following of the General Code of Territorial Communities, the tourist tax is due per night per person. Minor children are exempt.

The customer is required to provide us with an email address and a mobile phone number. All reservations are accompanied by written confirmation (email) and a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay and the services reserved. This deposit must be paid upon receipt of confirmation of the reservation for the chosen period and at the latest 15 days before arrival.

This deposit will be deducted from the total bill on the day of departure.

Beyond this period, the reservation is not guaranteed.
A bank imprint is requested when booking it simply constitutes an element of guarantee when booking (no direct debit is made before departure. The reservation is made for a specific number of people.

If on arrival the number of people exceeds the number provided when booking, Bastide des Martelières is able to refuse additional people. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of Bastide des Martelières, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no refund can be given. considered.

In the context of advance reservations, from one year to the next or from one season to the next, the reservation is subject to the general conditions defined by the two installments mentioned in the “privatization” paragraph.

The duration of the stay is agreed for a fixed period and specified in the written confirmation sent to the client. The customer may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.

At the end of the stay, the customer undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition, to declare and to assume financially any possible degradation for which he could be responsible.

Bastide des Martelières reserves the right to make an inventory and to inform the customer after his departure.

The methods of payment accepted are: cash (Euros), bank card (Visa and MasterCard), bank transfer (exclusively in €) – especially for international customers (Customers outside the EEC). The site has a bank terminal for cards blue to finalize the transaction.

For privatizations, payment is made in 3 instalments:
– A 1st deposit of 30% of the estimate, paid upon confirmation of the possibility of reservation.
– A 2nd deposit of 60%, by bank transfer, will be requested 15 days before the rental period.
– The balance due, to which will be added the supplements related to the stay as well as the taxes, will be paid at the time of departure

If the customer wishes to pay this balance by bank transfer, this must be done no later than 15 days before the stay.
The reservation only becomes effective upon receipt of the first two installments and implies acceptance of the general conditions.
When booking, the customer will leave a credit card imprint on which, excluding damage, no sum will be deducted.

When you leave, we will do a general tour of the estate. In the event of damage(s) noted and this within a reasonable limit after your departure, our insurance and legal protection, which have the delegation to carry out any intervention on behalf of La Bastide des Martelières, will meet on the dispute in order to claim the sum necessary for a restoration of the site and for a resumption of the activity for the following customers.

Any reservation modification must be the subject of a request directly to our guest house, either by mail or by email addressed to info@bastidedesmartelieres.fr This modification request will only be effective when the Bastide des Martelières will have confirmed its acceptance by email.

Any partial or total cancellation must be the subject of a request directly to our guest house, either by mail or by email addressed to info@bastidesdesmartelieres.fr or 356 chemin des barettes 13300 salon de Provence.
– If the cancellation is requested at least 15 days before arrival, no penalty will be required, the deposit will be refunded. Below 10 days before arrival, the entire deposit will be cashed.
– If the client leaves the guest house before the scheduled end of his stay, for his own reasons, the Bastide des Martelières reserves the right to invoice and claim or debit the total amount of the scheduled stay.
A cancellation request will only be effective when the Bastide des Martelières has confirmed its acceptance by email.

In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, by the owner, the latter will refund the sums collected to the tenant.

The customer will not be able to claim any compensation for anything whatsoever.

The tenant certifies that he is covered by liability insurance covering the liability of all occupants.
The Company managing the Bastide des Martelières certifies that it has taken out insurance covering its Professional Civil Liability arising from its bed and breakfast activity.

The customer must present himself on the specified day. Reception is assured, the day of your arrival, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
No reception will take place before 4 p.m. For a late arrival beyond 8 p.m., the customer must contact us to agree on his arrival time.

On the day of departure, the rooms must be vacated by 11 a.m. at the latest.

The French countryside breakfast is served only in the dining room or on the terrace, from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Guest dinners will be offered on request and by reservation later in the year. It is important to reserve this slot in order to better serve our customers.
The price of the meal is per person all inclusive (excluding drinks). In view of the health context, it is possible to have lunch in conviviality or in a family group.

The application of ministerial recommendations and the application of barrier gestures will be applied.
Only one menu will be offered and guest dinners are intended for adults and children over 5 years old. A children’s menu can be accommodated if it is reserved in advance and if the child does not have an allergy. Children with allergies are the responsibility of their parents in terms of managing their particular situation.

We inform our customers that the site includes farm animals and pets.

La Bastide des Martelières is not able to accept pets.

For the protection of the environment and the smooth running of our customers’ stay, the installers of the site’s wastewater treatment plant prohibit throwing away any device: tampon, cotton swab, feminine protection, razor blade, etc. inconvenience of clogging the lift pumps. This can result in an urgent intervention of unsightly technical means and a rise of waste water despite the desired disproportion of the equipment.

Knowing how to count on the commitment to the environment of our customers, we ask for assiduous vigilance on this recommendation. Bins are available in the rooms and cleaned once a day.

Respect for a certain art of living is required of all guests to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of all. The customer must respect the sound levels. Televisions and music should not disturb the tranquility of guests, particularly from 9:00 p.m.

The dining room and the surroundings of the swimming pool are not places for picnics. The whole house (bedrooms, living rooms, dining room, etc.) is strictly non-smoking. It is therefore requested not to smoke in the establishment, in the rooms or at the windows.

An outdoor rural space on the meadow part is provided for picnicking at lunchtime, especially when the customer returns from his visits.

Children evolve within the estate under the sole responsibility of their parents. The swimming pool is not supervised and its use by children alone is prohibited. When accompanied by their parents, they remain under their full responsibility. In particular, parents are asked to ensure that their children respect the tranquility of the other guests in the house. Ball games are prohibited.

Depending on daily maintenance, outdoor equipment may be temporarily closed for upkeep, maintenance and repair. Of course, regular maintenance is done to reduce these impacts upstream.

The reception staff is at your disposal to inform you of the events of your stay.

Three points of privatization are possible, it is important to refer to the rates applied.

Indeed, a 40 amp electrical terminal is on site. Vehicles must arrive with their own charging cord. This terminal is only accessible for fast charging.
A washing and ironing area is possible on request and on an exceptional basis.
The wellness area includes a jacuzzi, an exercise bike and a self-massage table. This space can be privatized according to the requests and the schedule incumbent on it.

La Bastide des Martelières declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to the personal effects of guests.

La Bastide des Martelières produces and processes everything on site, electricity being imported. In this context, still bottled water is provided, higher class waters are priced.

Only people staying at the Bastide des Martelières are authorized to enter the property and use the common areas and the swimming pool.

The site is secured by a video surveillance system.

People with reduced mobility must be accompanied when moving from the room to the dining room.

For administrative questions of management of the tourist tax we must collect and transmit data and for this we ask the customer; in application of the law of January 6, 1978 on data processing and freedom, to send us the first names, surnames and nationalities of all persons as well as the age for the children and the email address who will be present. Your email address is also stored. All this data remains confidential and is only used for our internal use, within the framework of our contractual relationship, and will in no case be communicated to third parties except at the possible request of the authorities (police files). They are kept for 5 years after the end of the contractual relationship.

All wifi connections are the responsibility of the user hosted at the Bastide des Martelières. The state Wifi made available is provided according to guest codes on arrival in the room. The wired network will be reserved for private use.

La Bastide des Martelières may be required to make promotional offers on its site, or by any other means of communication, relating to accommodation services provided on a date or according to a determined frequency, for which no cancellation is possible. (Article L121-20-4 of the Consumer Code). Promotional offers from Bastide des Martelières cannot be combined with each other.

This contract is governed by French law.
All disputes to which this contract may give rise, concerning its validity, interpretation, execution, termination, their consequences and their consequences will be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of common law.
